If you want to keep your avocado from turning brown, once you have cut it open, add some lime or lemon to it. Also, if you are only using half the avocado, keep the pit in the side that you will save, wrap it up and place it in your refrigerator. The pit will keep it from turning brown. If you prepare guacamole before your party starts, make sure to cover your dish with plastic wrap down to the guacamole. Try to make sure that there is no air in between the guacamole and plastic wrap. And place in your refrigerator till it's party time!
