Get the Most Juice Out of Your Lemon

Microwave your lemon for approximately 15 seconds to get more juice out of it. Also roll your lemon around on your cutting board with some pressure on it. This will also help to get the most juice out of your lemon.

How to Store Coffee Beans

You should store your coffee beans in an airtight, opaque container at room temperature. If you plan to not use all the coffee beans within 2 weeks, then store them in the freezer.

Awesome Children's Ice Pack

Beanie Babies are a great alternative for ice packs. Just stick them in the freezer and take them out when needed and the kids will love them too!

Quick Food Tip - Less Tears From Onions

An easy way to be more tear-free from chopping onions is to keep your onions refrigerated. Also you can run it under cold water while cleaning the onion. I also like to use my Kitchenaid 3 cup Chef's Chopper. Definitely cuts down on major onion tears!

Soothing Caribbean Bath

I look forward to taking baths. If you are a bath person, then this is a fun soothing way to relax at the end of the day.

What you will need:
  • Blue and Green Food Dye
  • 100% Pure Essential Lavender Oil
  • Candles
  • A Good Book
Dim the lights, light your candles, start your bath water, add at least 10 drops of essential oil into your bath,  and approximately 3 drops of blue dye and 2 drops of green dye (might need more) to the water once it is halfway full. Makes it feel more like an ocean. Grab your book, get in and relax!

Soft, Smooth Younger Looking Hands and Body

Here is a very cost effective way to make your hands look and feel, soft and smooth, and it's eco-friendly!

What you will need:
  • Bowl of olive or grapeseed oil warmed up in a microwave (approximately 2 - 3 cups)
  • Granulated Sugar (2-3 cups will do, you can add more if you like)
  • Optional: 2-3 drops essential oil (lavender)
Make sure oil is not too hot and place hands in olive oil/grapeseed oil and let them soak for a bit. Then add sugar (plus optional essential oil) and scrub your hands with the mixture. When finished you can take a soak in the tub and then use your sugar scrub mix to scrub down your body. Keep your hair out of the water once you use your sugar scrub, otherwise you will look like you have greasy hair! Make sure to be careful when you get out of the tub. You don't want to slip and fall!
